Full Time Teller (Calvert & Grove Hill Branch Floater)
Job Summary:
As a front-line representative of Azalea City Credit Union, our primary focus should be based upon creating 5-Star member interaction. You are expected to greet our branch visitors with a welcoming smile. Each and every experience with our members must be provided in a positive and professional manner. The teller line provides members with a first impression therefore, member service of our Associates is of the utmost importance.
Daily Responsibilities:
Receives and processes member financial transactions, including, but not limited to, deposits, withdrawals, check cashing requests, credit card advances, loan payment, selling of cashier checks to members, transfer amounts from member accounts as directed, and other forms of negotiable items, speed of service, superior problem resolution, risk mitigation through fraud detection, and personalized value-added client discussions.
Welcomes members and provides routine information concerning services such as service charge clarity and account maintenance and directs members to appropriate departments for specific information and service. Identifies cross-sell opportunities and cross-sells services to members.
Educates members on digital solutions such as mobile, online, shared branch and ATM offerings all centered around convenience.
Balances cash drawer and daily transactions.
Adheres to professionalism standards to include demeanor, dress, and station orderliness.
Performs a variety of miscellaneous tasks such as: assisting with daily audits and performs other duties as assigned by management.
Incumbent is required to comply with all applicable federal, state, and local banking and industry related laws and regulations including but not limited to the Bank Secrecy Act.
